Position Summary
This is an ONSITE position located in Colorado Springs, CO. Active TS/SCI is REQUIRED at the time of application.
National Capitol Contracting (NCC) is seeking a Senior Military Operations Analyst to support the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command for an upcoming contract. This role involves evaluating military strategies, operational plans, and force structures to inform senior leadership and enhance operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in military operations, a deep understanding of joint and service-specific planning processes, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations. Key Areas of Responsibility
- Provide leadership to mid and junior-level military operations analysts.
- Develop, review and revise supporting work plans, task order plans.
- Provide innovative approaches to technical problems.
- Draft statements of work, develop requirements documents, concept of operations documents, and operations manuals.
- Conduct site surveys, and write after action reports.
- Participate in meetings and telephone conferences with customers.
- Write meeting summaries, progress reports, information and position papers.
- Attend conferences and exchange technical data.
- Perform any additional duties that may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- 12+ years of relevant military operations experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Prior experience working with or supporting DoD, Army operational commands, or specifically USASMDC, MDA, or SPACECOM.
- PMP certification and/or trainings.
