Position Summary:
A manufacturing operator utilizes production equipment in a variety of different departments in order to fulfill daily production requirements. This includes machinery used in the production of injection molded parts, extruded parts, assembled parts, and composite tubing.

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Sets up, operates, and shuts down equipment used in the production of composite tubing.
- Sets up, operates, and shuts down injection molding machines.
- Sets up, operates, and shuts down extrusion equipment.
- Assembles, cleans, inspects and packages finished goods.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions.
- Ability to read and understand product drawings.
- Tracks production times and daily output.
- Performs housekeeping tasks to maintain the integrity of the cleanrooms.
- Ability to use rulers, tape measurers, dial calipers, wall thickness gauges, pin gauges, and non-contact measuring systems to ensure products are built to specifications.
- Understands tolerances and their application.
- Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work up to a 12-hour shift.
- Must be reliable, punctual, show initiative, and work as a team player.

Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Experience with injection molding and extrusion equipment preferred but not required.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, work instructions, standard manufacturing procedures, drawings and production manuals.
- Basic math skills required, ability to work with fractions and decimals. Must be able to measure effectively utilizing measuring tools.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel: reach with hands and arms; and talk/hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
