We are seeking a Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients, prospective clients, and visitors. This role plays a key part in shaping each client’s first impression and ensuring a smooth, professional experience from the very first interaction. The receptionist creates a welcoming, professional, and organized office environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
Compensation:
$20 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer and route incoming phone calls with professionalism and empathy
- Interact with clients who may be navigating sensitive or emotional legal matters, requiring professionalism, empathy, and discretion
- Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars as needed
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and office correspondence
- Maintain an organized and professional front office and reception area
- Communicate effectively with attorneys and staff regarding client needs
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and firm records
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role (law firm experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional phone etiquette and client service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and office technology
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
