Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide expert nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients. This travel nursing opportunity allows you to utilize your Emergency Room RN skills in a dynamic setting equipped with advanced specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care for patients with conditions including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
- Administer complex medications and drips including pressors (Levophed, Neo, Epi), vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, sedatives, and insulin
- Participate in floating between units as needed
- Support charge nurse duties (highly preferred)
- Efficiently document care utilizing EPIC EMR system
Qualifications:
- Active New York State RN license with verification through NURSYS
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience, including some pediatric exposure
- Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
- Demonstrated travel nursing experience in Emergency Departments required
- Valid drivers license with address matching demographic requirements
- Readiness to provide a Resume, Resume-to-Offer (RTO), and skills checklist at submission
- Ability to work assigned shift from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM; block scheduling not guaranteed

- Travel assignment available; local nurses within 75 miles are eligible for local rates
