Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist to support specialized imaging services in Interventional Radiology and Emergency/Outpatient settings. This contract position is based in Saint Louis, MO, focusing on delivering exceptional patient care and high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities:
- Perform specialized MRI procedures resulting in diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
- Deliver excellent patient care during all MRI exams, adhering strictly to MR safety principles
- Operate advanced imaging equipment including GE 1.5T and 3T MRI machines using Visage PACS system
- Provide imaging support for a diverse patient population including ventilated and anesthesia cases
- Work rotating 12-hour day shifts with rotating call requirements, including weekends
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Current ARRT registration required; MRI Registry preferred (must obtain within 1 year if not already certified)
- BLS and Registered Radiologist Assistant (R.R.A.) certifications mandatory
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience, with pediatric radiology/imaging strongly preferred
- Proven skill in operating GE 1.5T and 3T MRI systems
- Strong communication and patient care skills essential
Additional Details:
- Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts, 36 hours weekly guaranteed
- Requires flu vaccination or Mercy-approved exemption (Nov 1 Apr 1)
- Evening shift orientation held during the day shift week; full-week availability required for orientation
- Dress code: Black scrubs preferred
