We are seeking a full time Primary Care Physician at Luke AFB in Glendale, AZ.

CORE Duties:

  • Perform a full range of physician services in accordance with privileges granted by the MTF.
  • Technically direct, perform, or assist in the instruction of other health care professionals within the scope of the clinical privileges or responsibilities.
  • Examine, diagnose, treat or prescribe courses of treatment within the scope of training, experience, and privileges.
  • Provide preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling.
  • Order diagnostic tests as applicable as well as request consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated.
  • Technically proficient in clinically directing and teaching other medical staff, providing educational lectures and participating in the provision of in-service training to clinic staff members. Such direction and interaction will adhere to Government and professional clinical standards and accepted clinical protocols. Completes medical record documentation and coding and designated tracking logs and data reporting as required by local MTF/AF/DoD instructions, policies and guidance. Completes all required training in accordance with DoD, DHA and Medical Group policies/instructions and guidelines.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, between 7:00am and 4:30pm, not to exceed 40 hours per week, with a 30 minute or one hour lunch.

No Weekends, No Holidays

No Call, No Call-Back

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree: M.D. or DO
  • Education: Possesses a Doctor of Medicine degree or a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from from a medical school in the United States, Canada, or approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA), graduation from a college of osteopathy approved by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or graduation from a medical school with evidence of Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification.
  • Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the credentialing instructions.
  • Internship/Residency: Successful completion of an internship and accredited residency approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
  • Licensure: Current, unrestricted medical license from any state
  • Board Certification: Board eligibility is required. Board certification if preferred. Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Family Practice, the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.
  • Life Support Certification: Possess current BLS certification
  • Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.

Base salary: $220,000 - $260,000 depending on experience, or $347,000 as 1099

Bonus: Up to $15,000
