Your assignment runs from August 3, 2026 through May 21, 2027 (with likely pre/post planning days), giving you ample time to build lasting connections and grow within a culture of educational excellence. You’ll collaborate with two dedicated teams in an inclusion classroom setting, working closely with a manageable caseload of 8-9 students. Exposure to innovative teaching methodologies and diverse leadership styles will strengthen your expertise and expand your professional toolkit. During your downtime, enjoy exploring the region’s hiking trails, local history, and delightful southern cuisine.

Desired Skills & Requirements:

  • Valid GaPSC Teaching Educator Certificate
  • Special Education General Curriculum Endorsement required
  • Previous Special Education teaching experience is highly desirable
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction within an inclusion classroom setting
  • Develop and implement IEPs for assigned students
