Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - Construction to oversee and lead our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, federal projects, and infrastructure development, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring compliance with all building codes and regulations.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and contracts.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Conduct site management and inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise during the construction process.
- Coordinate with government agencies and stakeholders, particularly for federal and military base projects.
- Utilize best practices in construction management to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present project reports, updates, and documentation to senior management and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably with federal and military projects.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles, building codes, and regulations.
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and budget management.
- Excellent scheduling and site management skills.
- Familiarity with USACE CQM and other relevant quality management practices.
- Certifications such as CCM or CCP are preferred.
