Job Description

As a Software Sales Engineer supporting ISE’s MV2 MES platform, you will play a critical role in the sales process by translating complex manufacturing workflows into compelling, software‑driven solutions. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing systems experience, ERP/MES knowledge, and a strong ability to communicate software value.

You will partner closely with our Account Executives to understand prospect requirements, configure and deliver tailored demonstrations, and articulate how MV2 improves operational efficiency, data visibility, and business performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver engaging, story‑driven demonstrations of the MV2 MES platform manufacturing prospects and clients.
  • Translate customer pain points into software workflows and solution configurations.
  • Serve as the technical expert during sales cycles, answering detailed product and integration questions.
  • Validate integration points between MV2, ERP systems (Dynamics 365 BC, Infor, XA), and shop‑floor equipment.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource during sales cycles.
  • Support proof‑of‑concepts and assist prospects in evaluating technical fit.
  • Maintain and evolve demo environments to showcase new capabilities.
  • Gather requirements and relay insights into product and engineering teams.
  • Stay current with digital manufacturing technologies and trends in the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years in Software Sales Engineering, Pre‑Sales Consulting, or Solution Consulting
  • Experience with MES, ERP, MRP, or shop‑floor systems
  • Ability to deliver effective live software demonstrations
  • Strong communicator who can explain technical concepts to business stakeholders
  • Familiarity with manufacturing workflows: scheduling, execution, quality, OEE, traceability, etc.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or F&O, Infor, or similar ERP experience
  • Background in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, information systems, or computer science
  • Understanding of APIs, data flows, and system integrations
  • Experience supporting complex B2B software sales cycles
  • Willingness to travel (5-10%) to customer sites and industry events.

  • MV2 MES – Our subsidiary, Paper-Less, LLC, develops, sells, implements, and supports our proprietary MV2 MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solution that connects, monitors, and coordinates complex manufacturing systems, data flows, and people on the shop floor.
