Role and Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the delivery of health economics projects and tasks under direction of senior/principal/director
  • Review, extract and analyse data to be used to inform economic models (e.g. health care costs, quality adjusted life-years, productivity losses), seeking guidance and support as needed
  • Support in the development of high-quality and relevant economic models, technical reports and user guides, seeking guidance and support as needed
  • Support with the adaptation and analysis of global models to inform local HTA dossier development
  • Take ownership of project deliverables and assigned tasks
  • Understand the model development process, including the technical skills of designing and building a health economic model (CEM, BIM, COM, DTM, early models)
  • Identify / flag results that appear implausible and/or seek clarification where data provided are not clear
  • Ensure materials are accurate, complete and meet client requirements
  • Embed HEOR principles across projects, ensuring deliverables are consistently and clearly communicated
  • Comply with internal best practice, processes, systems and SOPs, ensuring relevant information is kept up to date
  • Participate in internal and external meetings as relevant
  • Actively seek and act on feedback from a range of sources
  • Develop a working knowledge of company deliverables and demonstrate an understanding of clinical trials and real-world evidence studies, data interpretation and statistical literacy, market access, and value communications

Requirements

Qualifications/Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in health economics or alternative quantitative subject (economics, statistics, mathematics, operational research).
  • Proven understanding of mathematical modelling techniques with a health care application
  • Skills in the application of economic and statistical analysis.
  • Experience in supporting the development of high quality modelling solutions in a health care or engineering setting
  • Understanding of the HEOR/HTA and commercial landscape.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Relevant work experience in consultancy, healthcare, biotechnology, and/or pharmaceutical industry.
