Senior Project Manager - Multi-family Projects
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in multi-family unit construction management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate project execution.
- Utilize construction management software such as Prolog, HeavyBid, ProCore, and Bluebeam for project tracking and documentation.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and review project estimates, budgets, and schedules while managing resources effectively.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project completion.
- Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure accurate blueprint reading and interpretation for effective project execution.
- Implement time management strategies to optimize workflow and productivity on-site.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience on multi-family projects. (Garden-style preferred.)
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and tools is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using construction management software such as Prolog, HeavyBid, ProCore, or similar platforms.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of technical drawings.
- Excellent time management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership skills.
