Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support in a school setting in Derry, NH. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with students across various grade levels including Early Childhood, Pre-K, Elementary (K-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in one-on-one and group settings.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with students from Early Childhood through High School.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders.
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
