GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Performs the required functions of the Manufacturing Department areas in a way that meets all applicable procedures, safety regulations and quality compliance. Completes documentation, cleans and sanitizes equipment and rooms per SOP’s, and ensures equipment is clean and operating properly by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Monitors processes and batch record documentation for compliance with MBR, MPR, SOPs and cGMPs while performing the assigned/specified manufacturing operations and duties.
  2. Follows and enforces safety rules, regulations, and procedures. Understands and complies with department MBRs, MPRs and SOPs in accordance with cGMPs. Completes Manufacturing paperwork accurately and completely.
  3. Verifies all batches received by control number, part number, and quantity against the MBR or MPR prior to running the lot, recognizes errors and notifies Lead or Supervisor as required.
  4. Checks all materials delivered against the MBR ingredients list or MPR parts list for conformance to specifications, recognizes errors and notifies lead or supervisor as required.
  5. Performs, inspects, and verifies in-process quality checks per MBRs, MPRs and SOPs. Assists in product failure and customer complaint investigations
  6. Cleans and operates equipment and rooms per SOPs. Performs limited preventive maintenance of department equipment.
  7. Assists in product failure and customer complaint investigations.

Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.
