Job Title: Process Automation Engineer
Location: North Carolina (Onsite Only)
Job Summary:
Seeking a Process Automation Engineer to support commissioning, integration, and startup of automated inspection systems in an aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup activities
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI/SCADA, vision systems, and equipment integrations
- Coordinate with OEMs and project teams
- Ensure GMP, validation, and data integrity compliance
- Support MES, SCADA, and IT/OT system integration
Required Skills:
- Experience with pharmaceutical inspection equipment
- PLC & SCADA/HMI systems (Siemens preferred)
- GMP manufacturing environment experience
- FAT to commissioning lifecycle experience
- Ability to work onsite startup schedules
Technical Skills:
- Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC Unified
- Siemens S7 PLCs
- PAS-X MES
- AVEVA PI Historian
- ThinManager
- Octoplant / VersionDog
Preferred:
- Körber inspection systems experience
- MES integration & industrial networking knowledge
