We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for one of our long-standing real estate clients. This position sits in Brooklyn and offers a hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate with have proficiency in Yardi. This role will start on a temporary basis with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice receipt, coding, approval, and payment processing.

  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of invoices into Yardi accounting system.

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.

  • Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.

  • Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues.

  • Support audits and provide documentation as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of accounts payable experience (real estate or non-profit industry preferred).

  • Proficiency in Yardi software is required.

  • Strong understanding of AP principles and best practices.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.



Pay Details: $32.00 to $35.00 per hour
