The role involves delivering essential patient care within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Responsibilities include circulating, scrubbing, and documenting both diagnostic and interventional procedures related to adult interventions, heart failure, and pulmonary services. The position requires the operation of relevant medical equipment and software, along with maintaining professional interactions with both patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

Essential Education and Experience:

• An Associate's Degree from a recognized Cardiovascular Technology Program.
• or
• An Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.

Licensure, Certification, and Registration:

• For candidates with an Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
• For those with an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology, possession of the Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), or Radiography (R) Registration Category from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is necessary, with CI being the preferred credential.
