Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A temporary role is available for a School Social Worker to provide leave coverage at a high school location in Anoka, MN, beginning at the end of February through the conclusion of the 20252026 school year. This position is ideal for a licensed social worker specializing in school settings who is passionate about supporting adolescents social-emotional development.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing crisis intervention and social-emotional support to high school students
- Assisting with attendance concerns and implementing strategies to improve student engagement
- Collaborating closely with school staff, families, and community resources to support student well-being
- Managing a caseload consistent with school social work practices in a public high school environment
Preferred qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota School Social Worker license (LGSW, LISW, or LICSW based on district requirements)
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in school settings, particularly with high school students
- Comfortable working within a public school environment supporting adolescent students
- Commitment to cover the full duration of the assignment from late February through the end of the school year
