SCHEDULE:
Monday- Friday with some evenings required.
SUMMARY:
Family Service League is seeking a full-time Program Director for our Mastic Clinic. The Program Director provides administrative and clinical oversight of the day-to-day operations of an OMH Mental Health Clinic treating people with both mental health and co-occurring disorders from the ages 5 and up.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Program Director will provide administrative and clinical oversight of the day-to-day operations of the mental health clinic, including integrated care satellites.
- Oversee staff, including recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and conducting supervisions and performance appraisals.
- Lead weekly team meetings and individual or group supervision to clinic staff and interns as needed.
- Provide direct supervision to clinic supervisor(s) and office manager.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure appropriate provision of medical services and storage of medication.
- The Program Director will act as backup for any clinic cases.
- Work with the Sr. Director of Clinics, Director of Clinic Operations, and other agency departments regarding program budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with all NY-OMH regulations and standards of care, including reporting, tracking and review of significant incidents through the NIMRS system; chart review/utilization review; monitoring of high-risk cases.
- Ensure compliance with Agency and state initiatives, including participation in the PSYCKES initiative; quality management projects; review and tracking of statistics related to productivity and performance indicators, as well as clinic-wide outcome measures.
- Review all referrals and coordination with priority referral sources.
- The Program Director will coordinate an open access process for referrals.
- Oversee urine toxicology testing.
- Coordinate with Information Technology staff to develop facility with the electronic health record and use of other technology tools and computer applications.
- Attend weekly supervision and monthly clinic director meetings with Sr. Director of Clinics. Attend other scheduled meetings and trainings as requested. This may include off-site meetings.
- Ensure that the Program/Department’s COA Accreditation Standards are achieved, documented, and incorporated into daily procedures. Update COA Procedures and documentation, annually, as standards change.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
LMSW, LCSW, Ph.D./PsyD or professional license in a related field required.
Master’s degree in Social Work, or related field required.
Five years’ experience working in a mental health clinic setting, including serving clients with co-occurring disorders required.
Three years prior supervisory experience required.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and experience working with an electronic health record.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills required.
Must possess the ability to multitask, make clear decisions and work as part of a team.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires sitting for long periods of time and occasional travel to other FSL offices for meetings.
