We are searching for a Data Entry Specialist to provide onsite support for a Vendor Database consolidation project. The project is anticipated to last between two and three months. This position is temporary and pays $20 to $22 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Review, clean, and consolidate vendor records within a financial services company database to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Identify and eliminate duplicate vendor entries while maintaining data integrity across systems
  • Standardize vendor naming conventions, addresses, and key data fields in alignment with company policies
  • Collaborate with accounting, procurement, and IT teams to validate and reconcile vendor information
  • Perform data audits and quality checks to ensure completeness and reliability of the vendor database
  • Update and maintain records within ERP systems and internal databases
  • Generate basic reports and summaries to track progress and highlight discrepancies

Requirements

  • Strong computer proficiency with the ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel (including formulas, sorting, filtering, and data validation)
  • Experience working with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms)
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity
  • Ability to work onsite and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
