Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school located in Windham, ME. This contract opportunity runs for the current school year (CSY) and is ideal for candidates holding Maine SLP licensure with experience and credentials aligned with pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Maine SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- Background working with pediatric populations in school settings
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state guidelines
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and related activities
