Position: RN-Oncology (Travel/Contract)
We're hiring experienced RN-Oncology for a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska — earn up to ($2138 - $2251 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments to patients.

Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.

Educate patients and families about treatment plans and side effects.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

Engage in performance evaluations and set personal growth goals.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Evaluate and implement best practices in oncology nursing.

Provide emotional support to patients and families during treatment.

Utilize data and metrics to assess treatment effectiveness.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the oncology department.
Experience/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alaska with oncology nursing certification preferred.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

Experience administering chemotherapy and managing oncology patients.

Ability to provide emotional support to patients during treatment.

Strong communication skills for patient and family education.
