Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school district in Minnesota is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to cover a Leave of Absence from January 26, 2026, through February 27, 2026. This contract position supports multiple school buildings, providing essential PT services to students in preschool through grade 12.
Location: Hopkins, MN
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Leave coverage (01/26/2026 - 02/27/2026)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite physical therapy services to students across 2-3 school buildings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student goals
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
Qualifications:
- Current Physical Therapy license in the state of Minnesota
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload that includes preschool-aged children
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with school teams
- Commitment to supporting student functional mobility and independence
