Position Overview:

  • This position ensures proper fittings and attachment to hose in line with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and quality.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for all computer input required for the position.
  • Obtaining correct hose and hose length for customer order.
  • Hydrostatically testing hose when required.
  • Cutting, skiving and crimping hose and inspection.
  • Hydrostatically testing hose to proof pressure when required.
  • Capping hose ends and delivering to Shipping Dept.
  • Packing and shipping inventory.
  • Receiving inventory properly and putting away.
  • Must be familiar with, and follow, all standard operating procedures and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of how and where to locate procedures and forms relevant to this position.

  • Must meet the Qualified Job Rate in training determined by Department Supervisor.
  • Indoctrination and NRP’s Quality Manual and specified requirements regarding job responsibilities.
  • Operate a saw, crimper and skiver machines.
  • Knowledge of Crimping Spec and how to crimp hose properly.
  • Operate hydrostatic testing equipment.
  • Strong literacy and comprehension skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.


Requirements:

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of company indoctrination.
  • Successful completion of safety training programs.
  • Understanding of the company’s Quality System and processes.
