With an 8-week contract and a guaranteed 48 hours per week, you’ll rapidly enhance your nursing experience, navigating a diversity of cases across medical surgical and telemetry units, including orthopedic, surgical, and trauma patients. Gain valuable insights by working alongside a multidisciplinary team, broadening your exposure to various leadership styles, and learning innovative workplace practices.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour night shifts (no blocked scheduling)
  • Every other weekend and holiday required (unless prior approval given)
  • 48 guaranteed hours per week (36 not accepted)
  • Start date: ASAP
  • 8-week contract

Key Qualifications:

  • Active KY or Compact RN license
  • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required upon submission)
  • At least 1 year of RN experience in Med Surg/Telemetry (Level I or II Trauma experience required)
  • Proficient with tele strip reading and interpretation
  • EKG test (to be completed during onboarding)
  • Care View/EPIC charting experience is a plus (on-site training available)
  • COVID vaccination required or declination process with weekly testing

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional care to a diverse patient base (patient ratio: 1:6)
  • Float across all inpatient Med Surg/Tele areas as needed
