Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Oakland, CA, serving students in grades K-5. This contract position offers the chance to provide critical support to young learners, helping them develop essential communication skills in a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-5 students.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions targeting speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with children in grades K-5.
  • Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and special education regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
