Job DescriptionPRESS BRAKE OPERATORMonday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:00 pm $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Set up and operate press brake (metal bending) equipment in alignment with quality, productivity, safety, and site efficiency standards.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designer.
• Perform quality inspections according to documented quality plans and accurately record results.
• Identify and differentiate between material types (aluminum, 5000-series aluminum, steel, stainless steel, paint grip, galvanneal, galvanized) and adjust processes accordingly.
• Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner while following prescribed safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement efforts for safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Assist in other work areas and cross-train as needed.
• Adhere to attendance, safety, and site standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, memos, and written instructions.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Capability to identify and work with multiple types of metals and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Adherence to safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and assist with cross-functional tasks.
