About the Opportunity:
ProCare Therapy is partnering with a supportive and student-focused school district in Suffolk, Virginia to hire a licensed School Psychologist for the upcoming 20252026 academic year. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations

Assist in developing and implementing IEPs and 504 plans

Provide consultation and collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Offer counseling services to students individually or in groups as needed

Contribute to behavioral intervention planning and support
-
Participate in crisis response and school-wide prevention initiatives

Support a safe, inclusive, and positive school climate
Position Details:

Contracted for the full 20252026 school year

K12 caseload (final assignment based on experience and district needs)

Work alongside a dedicated and collaborative school-based team
Qualifications:

Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology

Valid Virginia School Psychologist license (or eligibility)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Previous school-based experience preferred
