We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team for weekend shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery, programming, and quality control within a factory setting. This role is crucial for ensuring precision and efficiency in the production of high-quality components.
Pay rate based on Experience $18.61 - $31.63/hr (+ shift differential depending on shift)
Duties
- Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications and blueprints.
- Program CNC machines using appropriate software, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
- Utilize CAD software, such as SolidWorks, to create and modify designs as needed.
- Conduct quality control inspections using tools such as calipers to ensure all products meet required standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues with machinery and processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Operate additional equipment such as press brake machines when necessary.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing facility.
Skills
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation is essential.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in machining processes.
- Experience with CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for design purposes.
- Strong understanding of quality control measures and techniques in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate press brake machines effectively.
- Competence in using precision measuring tools like calipers for quality assurance.
- Basic welding skills are a plus but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.
