Job DescriptionJob Title: Physical Therapist – Outpatient (Full-Time, Day Shift)
Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive physical therapy services, including patient assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic interventions. This role involves educating patients and their families, communicating effectively with care teams, and demonstrating appropriate therapeutic techniques. The Physical Therapist may work independently without direct supervision while ensuring high standards of patient care.Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plansImplement therapeutic interventions based on patient needs and goalsEducate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and recovery strategiesCommunicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to support patient careDemonstrate proper use of therapeutic techniques and equipmentMonitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessaryMaintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standardsWork Schedule:
Full-TimeDay ShiftMonday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMRequired Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy programNew Mexico Physical Therapist License (New Mexico Physical Therapy Board) upon hireNational Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hirePreferred Qualifications:
Neonatal Therapist (CCH acute only): Degree from an accredited programMinimum of 2 years of experience in rehabilitationPreferred Skills:
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilitiesExcellent communication and patient education skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentCommitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
