Job Overview:

This position will work closely with the CFO to report financial operations to Management and support analysis and impact of important business decisions for the Company. It also holds as primary responsibility ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of all accounting functions and compliance. This position plays a key role in the longer view of a Companys financial operations.



Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist CFO as a key contributing member of the Management team in executing short- and long-term strategies and its financial impact.
  • Supports the execution of financial strategy.
  • Responsible for keeping the Institution financially healthy by ensuring compliance with all regulators.
  • Oversees the Organization s ledger and financial accounts, cost controls and financial and auditing functions.
  • Analyze the impact that important business decisions will have on Companys finance.
  • Prepare quarterly /annual financial reports. Managing the preparation, consolidation, and reporting for all business lines.
  • Ensure the financial practices comply with all federal and local regulations (GAAP/SEC/ SOX). Ensuring the general ledger accounting complies with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) best practices.
  • Managing capital assets.
  • Solid business sense about the Companys goals and strategies, and market scenarios that will impact those areas.
  • Determine areas of possible cost reductions.
  • Responsibility for leading the implementation of new accounting pronouncements.
  • Ensures and execution of all key controls.
  • Monitors requires regulatory filings and divided disbursements.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills to guide the established organizational goals
  • Previous experience working with complex financial transactions, review of financial statements and financial accounting and reporting
  • Technical accounting skills and GAAP accounting
  • Understanding of SEC rules and regulations
  • Experience in annual budgeting experience
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role, team management, and decision-making skills
  • Bilingual. Excellent communication skills in both languages English and Spanish



Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting
  • CPA required
  • 10 years of experience in accounting
