Birch Agency, a nationally recognized company in educational services, is looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in Martinez, CA! Job Details:

8 hrs/day (4 days a week) - 32 hrs/week

Elementary and Middle School (2 sites) - Flexible Schedule:Choose to spend two days a week splitting morning sessions at junior high and afternoons at elementary, or devote one full day to the junior high caseload of 5.

Elementary are speech only kiddos, not Special Day Class

Middle schoolers are Moderate/Severe (only 5)

Caseload: approximately 44 (5 of which are Junior High)

Start Date - ASAP

End Date - June 4, 2026

Pay starting at $50/hr (dependent on experience)
Qualifications:
-
Valid CA state Speech Language Pathology Assistant license required

Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting, with a strong emphasis on supporting those with special needs preferred
Responsibilities:
As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant with Birch Agency, you will:

Work under a team of SLPs
-
Evaluate students referred with speech/language disorders to determine degree and severity
-
Provide Speech Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities
-
Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines
-
Attend IEP Meetings
-
Confer with parents and develop home programs when necessary
-
Consult with Teachers
-
Work as a part of Special Ed team
-
Provide thorough and accurate documentation in a timely fashion
