Turnwell Mental Health of South Florida is seeking an enthusiastic, high-energy, motivated Bilingual Front Office/Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Aventura, FL!!! This is an great opportunity to work with a team of great psychiatrists in a new facility opening in July!!!
Interested candidates must have a current medical assistant certification.

Medical specialties:
Psychiatry
Phlebotomy Experience is a plus
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
- Monday through Friday
Clinical Duties:
- Direct Patient Care: Taking vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, weight, etc.), recording patient history, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures.
- Assisting Physicians: Helping with patient exams, administering injections or medications (as permitted by state law)
- Equipment and Room Preparation: Sterilizing medical equipment and preparing exam rooms.
Administrative Duties:
- Patient Scheduling: Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
- Medical Records: Maintaining accurate patient records, including vital signs, test results, and medication information.
- Front Office Support: Greet patients, answer phones, and handle general office tasks.
- Supply Management: Maintaining inventory of medical and office supplies.
- Billing and Insurance: Assisting with billing and insurance claims.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Communication: Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Patient Education: Providing basic health education and instructions to patients.
- Maintaining a Clean and Organized Environment: Keeping exam rooms and treatment areas clean and organized.
- Following Standard Operating Procedures: Adhering to all applicable safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant Certification is required
- 2-4 years as a Medical Assistant. Mental Health Office preferred
