General Duties:
The primary function of this position is to coordinate workflow within the Receiving or Order Fulfillment department, provide training to employees, and ensure proper quality control and productivity levels are maintained throughout the department along with training on company and department guidelines.
Schedule & Pay:
Monday - Friday | 3:00PM - 11:00PM | $20.78/ hour
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead personnel in the daily order fulfillment and receiving functions in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist supervisor in controlling daily workflow to prioritize inventory coming in the building by looking at daily hot sheets and back-order reports
- Assist supervisor in making sure the inventory coming in the door is being received and license plated correctly, product moved to proper locations in a timely accurate manner and investigate any inventory discrepancies.
- Safely and accurately set up, operate, and oversee the operation of order fulfillment equipment. Follow all equipment manufacturers set up procedures to ensure proper operation of equipment.
- Assist supervisor to facilitate training on all equipment and processes for order fulfillment and receiving.
- Complete various reports for management including but not limited to current order volumes and shipments, productivity, manifesting, scale and carrier logs, and error data.
- Prepare daily schedule based on training needs, rotation, current employee knowledge, and productivity moving employees as needed to ensure proper flow.
- Sustain a friendly, efficient, teamwork environment.
- Ensure employees are following QC and GMP procedures. Follow all QC and GMP policies that are currently in place, attend yearly QC GMP training and assist with the implementation of new policies.
- Help ensure products are being pulled for transfer to East and West coast distribution centers.
- Communicate with Quality Control (QC) department to obtain accurate dates for bulk received and PLFG.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
- Conducts self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of SHP.
Marginal Duties:
- Provide input to supervisor on employee performance reviews.
- Accurately and efficiently pick products, check, pack, stock, and ship orders.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent GED, and 1-3 years of experience as an Order Fulfillment or Receiving Associate.
