The supervisor for Alivia Home infusion Services is responsible for coordinating, supervising and guaranteeing the quality of care for patients of Alvia Home Infusion Services. Supervises all nursing personnel in assigned regions, ensures compliance with all treatment plans, policies, internal procedures, regulatory standards and accreditation requirements (including ACHC). Promotes patient centered approach, clinical safety and required documentation to ensure the continuity & quality of care.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision and coordination of all field nursing staff providing home infusion services.
- Performs periodic field visits to ensure compliance with practice standards, safety protocols, and ACHC standards.
- Ensure each referral for the infusion program is admitted within 24 hours.
- Coordinates with pharmacy the delivery of medications & materials required to administer home infusion therapy.
- Audits clinical documentation originated by nursing personnel, guaranteeing compliance with regulatory requirements, billing & ACHC.
- Promptly notifies any incidents, adverse events, complaints, or problems related to patient care and collaborates on any investigations.
- Coordinates and evaluates clinical competencies for nursing personnel ensuring they comply with all training and validation required by ACHC.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing forma n accredited institution
- Current / active P.R Nursing License
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Home Health, Home Infusion or acute care.
- A minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience in nursing and /or home infusion /care role.
- Proven written and oral communication skills.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve situations in a fast-paced environment.
- Results oriented towards ensuring strong adherence to compliance and regulatory standards.
