Job Title: Bookkeeper (Great Plains Experience Required)
Location: Tampa, FL
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Type: Temporary-to-Permanent
Pay Rate: $24–$28 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Great Plains (Dynamics GP) and will be responsible for catching up on backlogged books and maintaining accurate financial records. This is a temp-to-perm position with the potential to become a permanent role based on performance.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Update and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies.
Handle general ledger entries, journal postings, and account reconciliations.
Utilize Great Plains to process transactions, generate reports, and maintain accounting data.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Provide financial reports and support management as needed.

Qualifications:

Proficiency with Microsoft Great Plains (Dynamics GP) is required.
Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
