Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Two Special Education Teachers are needed to serve grades 3–5 and middle school students for the current school year through June 2026. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education (required)
- Valid Special Education Teaching License for Pennsylvania
- Previous experience teaching students with emotional support needs preferred
- Proven commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered classrooms
- Ability to effectively collaborate with staff, parents, and specialists
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt instructional strategies based on individual student needs
- Willingness to work full-time hours in a school-based contract role
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in emotional support settings
- Design lessons that address diverse learning styles and encourage growth academically, socially, and emotionally
- Monitor student progress, document data, and communicate updates with families and IEP teams
- Create a positive and structured classroom environment that promotes success and well-being
- Participate in professional development and team meetings
- Foster open, supportive communication among students, parents, and staff
Assignments are scheduled for 35 hours per week, with start and end times tailored to either elementary or middle school hours.
