Job Overview
As a Lead Technician / Programmer, you'll independently manage high-end AV and automation projects. From installation to system programming, you will ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards. This role offers room to grow into a project management or operational leadership role for those who show initiative and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead installations and programming for AV and smart home systems
- Program systems including Control4, Savant, Lutron, and networking (Unifi, Araknis, Ruckus)
- Ensure job site quality and completion without the need for oversight
- Communicate clearly with clients to deliver and explain installed systems
- Act as a site lead and mentor for junior team members
- Report to or collaborate with Project Managers based on project scope
Qualifications
- 3+ years in AV integration or smart home systems
- Experience with at least two of the following: Control4, Savant, Lutron, Crestron Home, or advanced networking
- Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and customer service skills
- Ability to take initiative and manage tasks independently
- Comfortable in client-facing roles and system delivery walkthroughs
