Salary: $28 - $32 / hour
360 Rail Services is a railroad Consulting and Construction firm providing Engineering, Maintenance, Construction, and Operations to various clients across the US. Job Summary:
We are hiring a Class A CDL Driver to deliver various equipment to our multi customer sites.
As a Class A CDL driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools and supplies to and from the customer worksite. This role will generally drive a Class A truck hauling equipment on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in a variety of conditions, including urban, suburban and rural settings. Ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for all DOT, permit and related filings derived from electronic log reports and the fuel card
- Responsible during downtime for yard clean up and Kenworth/trailer maintenance ensuring compliance with all pertinent regulations
- Responsible for Quarterly IFTA reporting
- Know all DOT/other reporting requirements and pertinent data management of logs, fuel purchases, etc.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Driver's license with CDL License and acceptable driver's record. Prior training and/or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred
- Must have Manual transmission endorsement
- Experience driving flat-beds, RGN/lowboy, dovetail trailers
- A preferred. troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites
- Customer service attitude
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
