A nursing opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical care at a healthcare facility in Luther, OK. This contract role offers variable 12-hour shifts with weekly guaranteed hours totaling 36, including required weekend and on-call duties.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process.
- Maintain professional accountability and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
- Coordinate patient care with other departments to ensure seamless treatment.
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality at all times.
- Comply with organizational mission, values, and service standards.
- Float to other units as needed to support patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current Oklahoma RN license.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
- Minimum of three years' experience in medical-surgical nursing.
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is preferred.
- Ability to maintain patient-to-nurse ratio of approximately 1:5.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, weekends, and call as required.
