What will I do in this role with Garden Spot?

  • Partner with hiring managers to intimately understand the profile of a successful candidate for each position to ensure a cultural and skills fit within the organization
  • Consistently communicate with hiring managers to determine current and future hiring needs and priorities
  • Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies across multiple channels (job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, etc.)
  • Develop new and innovative recruiting strategies in accordance with our People Positive strategic initiatives
  • Efficiently manage the job requisition process to ensure jobs are posted on internal and external recruitment sites
  • Maintain and manage a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for all positions, including key roles and hard-to-fill positions
  • Coordinate the pre-employment processes from acceptance to onboarding to ensure an exceptional candidate experience
  • Maximize the use of our applicant tracking system (ATS) and HRIS systems to ensure a smooth, efficient hiring and onboarding process
  • Maintain and manage a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for key roles and hard-to-fill positions
  • Maintain a strong presence in the local employment market of each of our communities
  • Coordinate and represent GSC at job fairs, industry events, educational events and campus recruiting initiatives
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on recruiting metrics, timelines, and hiring status
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Partner with the Marketing team to develop recruiting materials and promote employer branding efforts
  • Work with department managers to maintain up to date job descriptions and job profiles
  • Manage the internal transfer process for existing team members
  • Ensure hiring managers are trained in effective and legal interviewing

What do need for this role with Garden Spot?

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition
  • Recruiting experience in the healthcare or long-term care field is a plus
  • Demonstrates a determined sales and marketing mindset to filling open positions and maintaining an engaged applicant pipeline
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting techniques, tools, and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with data-driven recruiting and key performance metrics
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • An understanding of and willingness to live out our mission and values, providing compassionate person-centered care to all residents
