Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a NICU position requiring a MD or Compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, with rotating day/night shifts and every-other-weekend availability.

Details

  • 13-week travel contract in a hospital NICU setting
  • Pediatric surgical unit with a neonatal patient population including premature infants, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, iatrogenic NAS, and trach-dependent patients
  • Preferred experience with PCU, prematurity, AOP, ROP, BLD/CLD, and cardiac defects
  • Rotating day and night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week): days 07:00–19:30 and nights 19:00–07:30
  • Every other weekend required
  • Floating required within the specialty, including to a Baltimore sister campus
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Holiday coverage required as holidays fall on the schedule

Requirements

  • Active RN license in Maryland (MD state license) or a valid Compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
  • Tracheostomy (trach) care experience required
  • Pediatric/NICU clinical background required
