A leading multi-division construction and fabrication firm is seeking a General Superintendent to take ownership of field operations across large-scale mechanical and MEP projects. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in the field, knows how to drive production, and takes pride in delivering quality work safely and efficiently.
You’ll be the boots-on-the-ground leader—overseeing crews, coordinating trades, and ensuring projects stay on schedule, on budget, and aligned with client expectations.
What You’ll Be Doing

Lead day-to-day field operations across mechanical and plumbing scopes

Manage and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and vendors on active jobsites

Drive project schedules, sequencing, and overall execution in the field

Partner closely with Project Managers on budget, productivity, and change orders

Oversee labor planning, manpower loading, and field productivity tracking

Ensure quality control standards are met across all phases of construction

Coordinate inspections and maintain strong relationships with local authorities

Support prefabrication planning and field integration strategies

Mentor and develop field teams, foremen, and upcoming leaders

Lead project closeout including punch, turnover, and documentation
What They’re Looking For

15+ years of experience in mechanical / MEP construction

Strong background leading field operations on complex commercial or industrial projects

Proven ability to manage large crews and multiple trades simultaneously

Deep understanding of scheduling, labor forecasting, and field productivity

Hands-on leadership style with strong communication and accountability

Experience working closely with project management and ownership teams
