Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a part-time Occupational Therapist to support students from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade in a school setting. This contract position is based in Sunnyvale, CA, and entails working approximately 8 hours per week, spread over two days with shifts around 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM during the 2026-2027 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students TK-5th grade to support their developmental, sensory, and motor needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct evaluations and therapy sessions that promote student participation and success in the classroom setting.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy goals, progress, and communications consistent with school policies.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals for students receiving OT services.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience or interest in school-based practice.
  • Ability to work effectively with children in early education through elementary grades.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with educators and families.
  • Knowledge of school laws, regulations, and best practices related to occupational therapy services in educational settings.
