Title: Controls Engineer

Location: Ham Lake, MN

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for various automated processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HMI, PLC, machine automation, and robotics, and will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance system functionality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control systems for automation projects
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs for various applications
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate robotic systems into manufacturing processes
  • Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Provide technical support and training to operational staff on automated systems
  • Document control system designs and modifications for compliance and reference

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in controls engineering or automation
  • Proficiency in programming PLCs and HMIs
  • Experience with machine automation and robotics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
