A school psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a single school site in Fountain, Colorado. This contract role supports students with a comprehensive range of psychological services, including conducting evaluations and providing direct support to a diverse caseload. The position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, running from ASAP through May 28, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological evaluations to assess student needs
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement support strategies
- Assist in creating individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student assessments
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with diverse student populations
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and special education laws
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated skills in managing caseloads and delivering evidence-based interventions
