Position Summary
This position is ONSITE in Washington, D.C. Top Secret Clearance REQUIRED
National Capitol Contracting is seeking a Audio Visual Engineer. You will benefit and be supported by near unlimited training opportunities, close partnerships, and exposure to the latest in communication and collaboration technologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide troubleshooting and programming support focused on enterprise-deployed systems.
- Install Audio and Visual solutions in conference rooms and shared spaces.
- Design, specify, modify and engineer audio solutions for complex speaker, microphone, audio processing applications, and display components.
- Oversee technical execution of high-profile meetings.
Minimum Requirements
- Active Top Secret security clearance REQUIRED at the time of application, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI CI Poly.
- Bachelors Degree in Audiovisual, Engineering/IT, Radio/Television, or computer science and 5 years of experience OR 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Expert knowledge of acoustic and video design and meeting room configuration.
- Experience managing the AV infrastructure for a state-of-the-art public-facing events, conventions, or entertainment facilities or museums.
- Must be able to support the build and installation of computer- and component-based Audio/Video systems as well as provide user support for new and existing systems
- Ability to read and write critically.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Excellent customer service skills working in a multicultural environment.
Special Position Requirements
Schedule: Monday to FridayEnvironment/Physical Demands: Many of our site campuses are large and require travel by foot, ability to lift 30 pounds, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
