Title: Echocardiograph Technician (Echo Tech)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Weekend Rotation | Holiday Rotation | No Call
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient Facilities
About the Role:
Seeking an Echocardiograph Technician to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform 2D and 3D echocardiography

Conduct Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
-
Perform stress echocardiograms (exercise and pharmacologic)

Assist with echo procedures in Heart and Vascular Center

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training

Ensure accurate imaging and patient care during procedures
Requirements & Preferred Skills:
-
RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification required or eligible

Minimum 6 months cardiac ultrasound experience required

Current BLS (CPR) certification required

Associate’s degree in a related health field preferred

Knowledge of EKG rhythms and terminology required

Strong cardiac ultrasound skills required
