Assembly Supervisor | Kentwood, MI
Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of assembly technicians and operators.
- Ensure daily production targets and schedules are met efficiently.
- Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions to maintain standards.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing development for team members.
- Maintain a safe working environment and enforce company safety policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and material shortages.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize assembly processes.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing assembly, including at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, train, and develop personnel.
- Solid understanding of assembly processes, production tools, equipment, and quality control standards.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective interaction with team members and management.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen)
- Proficiency with ERP or MES systems for production planning and tracking
- Certification in a relevant field (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt, OSHA 30)
- Experience in troubleshooting complex electromechanical assemblies
