Shifts are straight days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including every other weekend and holiday.
\n\nJob Description\n
The Registered Nurse in the General Observation unit plays a critical role in monitoring patients' physical conditions, providing essential nursing care, and assisting in the early detection of potential health issues. The unit frequently manages high patient turnover, particularly for patients admitted from the Emergency Department.
\n\nResponsibilities\n

- Continuously monitor vital signs and assess patients' overall physical condition.
- Administer prescribed medications and provide basic patient care.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient care plans.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions that require urgent care.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a specialty area.
- Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
