Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position in the Lexington/Mansfield, OH area, requiring OASIS and HCHB experience with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating weekend availability.
Details
- Home health setting serving a geriatric patient population
- Average caseload of 6–7 patients per day
- Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- Rotating weekend requirement approximately every 8th weekend
- No on-call responsibilities
- Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub/office
- EMR: HomeCareBiz (HCHB) — experience required
- OASIS experience required
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent home health RN experience required
- OASIS documentation experience required
- HCHB EMR experience required
- Prior travel experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
Additional Information
- Provide skilled nursing care to geriatric home health patients across an assigned territory
- Timely communication and documentation are expected throughout each shift
- An iPad will be provided for use during the assignment
- Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
- Scrubs in any color are required; jeans are not permitted
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
- A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the travel pay rate
